This is all the seasons in one small pack containing an assortment of shoots and brassicas. This nutritionally dense and flavourful pack is Rising Roots signature blend and is contains more nutrition than you can shake a stick at.
Ingredients: sunflower shoots; pea shoots; red rambo radish; kale; broccoli.
Pea shoots are a great source of: folate, antioxidants, and carotene. Folate helps produce and maintain cells and protects against DNA damage. Antioxidants help the body fight free radical damage, commonly associated with high cancer risk. Carotenes help inhibit antioxidant activity and are commonly associated with increased cancer prevention. Pea Shoots also have high amounts of vitamin C.
Sunflower Shoots are high in vitamin E, which, in synergy with vitamin C (pea shoots, kale) helps reduce blood pressure, increase the elasticity of arteries and prevent heart disease.
Red Rambo Radish. Not only do they contain vitamins A, B, C, E, and K, they also deliver calcium iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc. But that’s not all. Radish microgreens are rich in essential amino acids and chlorophyll which has all sorts of benefits from cancer-fighting properties to digestive aid.
Broccoli load a lot of fiber and protein into just a few calories. They also contain anywhere from 10 to 100 times as much glucoraphanin — the nutrient that becomes sulforaphane. There is substantial evidence to prove that sulforaphane can reduce cancer cells when consumed on a regular basis.
Kale A Powerhouse of Vitamin C
You may already know that vitamin C can help keep your immune system healthy. But thanks to its antioxidant properties and its ability to stimulate collagen production, vitamin C can also help keep your skin supple and your bones strong. Most edible seedlings of Brassica vegetables, including kale sprouts and kale microgreens, are packed with vitamin C.
